Andrew and Natalie’s extensive experience working with the world’s finest artisans and factories shaped Loomah’s distinctive approach. Every carpet and rug is individually designed by the in-house team and hand tufted by skilled craftspeople to exacting standards. All Loomah carpets are made to precise room dimensions and shapes in one complete piece, eliminating joins and ensuring a flawless finish. From elegant plain designs to intricate borders following the contours of staircases, every project is tailored to the space it inhabits.

The Shift That Inspired Avalon

Over time, Loomah’s Director and Founder, Andrew Cotgrove, observed a clear shift in the luxury interiors market. While demand for bespoke, hand-crafted products remained strong, timelines were becoming increasingly compressed. Designers and clients wanted the same level of quality, but without extended lead times.

The challenge was how to deliver true bespoke British luxury while meeting modern expectations for speed and flexibility.

Avalon by Loomah was created as the answer.

Avalon is the sister brand to Loomah, designed to offer bespoke luxury without compromise or delay. By holding a curated stock of 21 expertly selected colours here in the UK, Avalon removes the need for overseas yarn dyeing and long shipping times.

This approach delivers faster lead times while maintaining the craftsmanship Loomah is known for. Each design can be made to exact size, shape and colour requirements using premium worsted wool and bamboo viscose yarns, all proudly made in Britain.

Designed for Every Interior

Avalon by Loomah serves residential homes, commercial spaces, yachts and hospitality projects. Clients can choose fitted carpets or loose-laid rugs in any configuration, supported by a seamless process from design through to installation.

Designs can be selected from an established portfolio or developed entirely from scratch in collaboration with Loomah’s London-based design team. The result is a refined, personal experience delivering elegance, quality and speed in equal measure.
