Papillon Perfumes began not with a grand plan, but with a quiet passion for beauty. In 2010, Liz Moores, co-founder and creative director, started blending perfumes at her kitchen table. Inspired by nature and memory, she created her first fragrances—Anubis, Tobacco Rose, and Angélique—by hand, sharing them only with family and close friends.

Word of these unique scents spread quietly. Soon, Papillon’s debut collection launched in 2014 at Les Senteurs, one of London’s most prestigious perfume boutiques. Today, Papillon fragrances are celebrated worldwide, found in esteemed boutiques and perfume shops across the globe.

Papillon’s vision is simple: create perfumes that stir the soul. Each fragrance is handcrafted in small batches using classical methods and the finest ingredients. Liz Moores blends rare absolutes and oils with care, letting each perfume unfold naturally.

Papillon perfumes are timeless, androgynous, and cruelty-free. Ethical sourcing is key: from beach-combed ambergris to synthetic musks, every ingredient is chosen with integrity. Some fragrances, like Angélique, Dryad, Hera, and Epona, are 100% vegan-friendly, while all formulas avoid animal testing.
